Non-Arabians
Although we prefer the Arabian horse to all other breeds,
we do have a few non-Arabians here at the farm...
1986-2015 chestnut Quarter Horse mare
bred by Art Fitzpatrick, Forsyth, MO
(Impress Express x Shoats Baby)

Baby was a lesson horse and had the
smooth, slow gaits for western pleasure.

Below are photos of Baby with some of the
many students she has helped teach the
basics of dressage:
1991-2013 brown Quarter Horse gelding bred by Betty Baker, Chico, TX
(Mr Hollywood Leo x Miss Stampede Bars)
Hank was another lesson horse. He suffered from COPD for many years
and although he managed to stay fairly healthy most of the time, 2013 was a
rough year for him and he was euthanized in September.
Below are photos of H
ank with some of the many students he has helped
teach the basics of dressage:
1983-2013 grey blanket Appaloosa gelding (40 Carat Nugget x Plaudits Brite Peavy)
Bred by Paul Branch, Drumright, OK
Peavy was our very colorful, blind retiree. He succumbed to a sudden stroke in
the summer of 2013.
